Erin Ysunza

Owner, Culinary Nutrition Expert, Mealtime Mastermind

Erin is the founder and sole operator of Family Recipe, LLC. She has an eclectic professional background, with teaching as the common thread. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary & Special Education at Northern Arizona University in 2009. After college, she went on to teach both as an instructional assistant and teacher/ case manager in a variety of special education settings first in Arizona, then Oregon, where she lives today.

Erin left teaching as a profession when her oldest child was born in 2015 with the vision of creating a business that would allow her to teach topics she loves while also being present for her kids’ early years. She uses the knowledge she gained from her time in the classroom to create her classes and learning materials with the goal of making the information as accessible to the learner as possible.

In 2020, Erin graduated from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition’s (ACN) Culinary Nutrition Expert (CNE) Program, further honing her understanding of nutrition and the powerful role food plays in our health and wellbeing. She went on to become a Certified Instructor for ACN and Program Coach for the CNE Program. Erin has used her culinary nutrition expertise to improve many of her own health challenges and is passionate about helping others to do the same through simple habits and cooking techniques.

Family Recipe, LLC offers a combination of original classes and programs created by Erin as well as classes created by the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. Family Recipe, LLC aims to provide education to all who are invested in learning, and offers classes and programs to serve individuals of all ages and abilities.
